BRITAINS GOT TALENT

During the 2022 series of Britains Got Talent, Born to Perform were awarded one of the very few Golden Buzzers by regular panel judge David Walliams.

Born to Perform did a special routine to Hairyspray’s “You can’t stop the Beat” which took our talented team of dancers straight through to the live shows where they performed another stunning routine.

OUR GOLDEN BUZZER AUDITION

Born to Perform had the crowd jumping with our energetic rendition of You Can’t Stop the Beat from Hairspray during our 2022 BGT Audition! Not only did they captivate every eye in sight, but it also touched every heart in the theatre.

Our performance earned them a standing ovation and David Walliams even awarded Born to Perform his celebrated golden buzzer.

Hosts Ant & Dec shared that it was “brilliant” and “joyous,” while Amanda Holden professed she couldn’t keep a non-stop smile off her face during their act. It was from this point that everything went a bit crazy for us!

TV APPEARANCES

After our initial golden buzzer audition, everything went slightly mad with a number of appearances on tv shows across the country.

This included an appearance on the Lorraine show where Harry, and Charlotte chatted with Lorraine about their golden buzzer appearance and the awareness that our presence on Britains Got Talent had created across the UK.

LIVE FINALS

This led to our appearance on the live finals of the show in May 2022 where our fantastic dancers performed a stunning routine to a medley of disco songs by the likes of Earth, Wind and Fire.

This performance once again got rave reviews from all 4 of the judges and everyone involved loved the once in a lifetime experience. Unfortunately this was where our BGT adventure ended and we weren’t voted through to the Final but it’s a time we’ll never forget and we’re all extremely proud of.

Mimi struggles with groups and is extremely shy. We started born to perform slowly nothing is too much trouble for them, you go at your pace, not one size fits all. Quickly and amazingly, Mimi felt so secure knowing I was not far away. The staff have enabled Mimi to achieve so much.

We've been coming to BTP for just over a year now and Coen absolutely loves it! He loves music and huge spaces to move freely and thats exactly what he gets every Saturday. Since Xmas we have seen huge progress in his ability to join in and often doesn't want to leave because he's having so much fun. We as parents love coming too and seeing the amazing work the girls do for the minis and more importantly how much fun they have whilst they work! We love being part of the BTP family.
